Progress Design Studio provided architectural services for Monarch 544, a 128 unit, 448 bed student housing property in Conway, South Carolina. The site was narrow, so the clubhouse was located at the front of the site as a ‘gateway’ through which people traveled into and out of the property. Monarch 544 features two and four bedroom units with bed/ bath parity in four-story wood frame buildings. Also featured is a detached two-level clubhouse including a leasing office, gaming and gathering area, tanning rooms, computer rooms, and an internet café. On site amenities include a resort-style pool with hammock areas, outdoor grills, and volleyball courts as well as a recycling center.
